First Holy Communion

As Catholics we believe that the Eucharist (popularly called the Mass) is both a sacrifice and a meal. Each day of the week the Eucharist is celebrated in the parish church. On Sunday this celebration happens on three occasions at 8am, 10am and 6pm.

Each year children (usually about the age of 8 – 10) prepare for their First Holy Communion through a preparation program consisting of several classes held in the parish centre to which parents and child are invited to attend.

How to Enrol

Download the First Holy Communion Application Form

Attach a copy of your child’s Baptism certificate to the completed Application Form
Mail or deliver to: Sacrament Co-ordinator, 13 Ian St, Rose Bay NSW 2029.
We will contact you to confirm your enrolment.

Key Dates for 2013

First Holy Communion – Sunday, 1st September 2013 at St Mary Magdalene’s Church.
