The parish of St Mary Magdalene’s seeks to provide support for the members of the family of those who have died both personally and spiritually. A well designed funeral or the more usual Requiem Mass aims to give thanks for the life of the person who has died, to grieve their loss and to reflect the message of hope and meaning that comes to us from the best tradition of our faith.

Funerals are celebrated at St Mary Magdalene’s which range from the most elaborate and dignified to the simplest and uncomplicated services.
