Catholic Communities of Rose Bay & Dover Heights

Reconciliation

The sacrament of Reconciliation (Penance) has 3 elements: conversion, confession and celebration. The objective of the sacrament of Penance is to bring about reconciliation within oneself, reconciliation with the community and reconciliation with one’s gracious God and therefore the forgiveness of sins. The sacrament of reconciliation is available in the parish church on Saturday at 9.30am (Rose Bay) and 4.45pm (Dover Heights).

Each year children prepare for their First Reconciliation through a preparation program consisting of several classes or sessions.
